Free Months of the Year Worksheets for Kindergarten
These free printable months of the year worksheets help kindergarten children learn the twelve month names and the order they come in. They are the natural next step after the days of the week: same idea, bigger calendar. Every page prints the whole year across the top, so a child who is not sure can look up and work it out instead of guessing. The pages rotate between three tasks so nobody does the same thing twelve times: reading a row that asks for the month after or before a given month and circling it, writing the missing months into a year that has gaps, and numbering three months 1, 2 and 3 to put them in order. The year here starts in January and ends in December, and that is stated on the first page, so no question ever asks what comes before January or after December. The three months to be ordered are always next to each other in the year, and the answers are shuffled on every page so a child cannot circle the same column all the way down. The last sheet is an answer key for all twelve pages. Just download, print, and say the months out loud!
