Free Above and Below Worksheets for Kindergarten – Where Is It
These free printable position word worksheets teach kindergarten children the words above, below, between and beside. Each question shows a grey box and a yellow star, and children circle the word that says where the star is. The first page is a chart showing all four words with a picture for each. The pictures are drawn carefully so that only one word can be right: the star always sits directly over, under or beside the box rather than at an angle, and there is a clear gap between them so that on and under do not also fit. Position words are the words children need before they can follow written instructions in maths, such as write the answer below the line. This set uses different words from our in, on and under worksheets, so the two go together rather than repeating each other. The last page is an answer key. Just download, print, and look!
