Free Kitchen Words Worksheets for Kindergarten – Read and Write
These free printable kitchen worksheets help preschool and kindergarten children learn to read and write the names of ten things from the kitchen: fork, spoon, knife, chopsticks, plate, mug, pot, pan, kettle, and whisk. The pages rotate between three tasks so children are not doing the same thing over and over: circling the correct word from three choices, drawing a line from each picture to its word, and writing the word on the line with a word list at the top for help. Kitchen words are easy first reading words because children help lay the table and can go and find the real thing after finishing a page. Every item looks clearly different from the others, so a fork is never mistaken for a spoon. The first page shows all ten pictures with their words as a reference, and the final page is an answer key. Just download, print, and set the table!
