Free Five Senses Worksheets for Kindergarten – Science
These free printable five senses worksheets are the first set in our science section for kindergarten. Children learn which body part goes with which sense, and then practice using that knowledge: eyes to see, ears to hear, nose to smell, tongue to taste, hands to touch. The pages rotate through four tasks three times so nobody does the same thing twelve times: reading a describing word and ticking the sense that tells you about it, deciding which body part you use for an everyday action, judging whether a sentence about the senses is right or wrong, and finishing a sentence with a word from a word bank. Every question has exactly one correct answer. The set never asks which sense a picture belongs to, because a flower can be looked at or smelled and a drum can be heard or seen, and a child should not be marked wrong for a fair answer. Describing words were chosen the same way: sweet is left out because a smell can be sweet too, so taste is asked with salty, sour and yummy instead. An answer key covering all twelve pages is included on the last sheet. Just download, print, and start exploring!
