Free Behind and In Front Worksheets for Kindergarten – Find It
These free printable behind and in front worksheets help preschool and kindergarten children learn the two position words that describe depth, the last pair after in, on, under, above, below, and left and right. Every picture shows the same ball and box, and the child works out where the ball is by looking at which one is partly hidden: the thing that is partly hidden is behind, and the thing you can see all of is in front. The pages rotate between three tasks so children are not doing the same thing ten times: circling the words that match a picture, reading the words and circling the matching picture, and reading a sentence and deciding yes or no. The choices also include on and next to, so children keep reviewing the position words they already know. The first page explains both words with an example of each, and the final page is an answer key. Just download, print, and find the ball!
