This is page 1 from our free count and colour worksheets for the numbers 6 to 10. Children count the pictures in the row, then colour in the same number of circles underneath. Because the circles stay on the page, a child who miscounts can go back and check without any help from an adult. Encourage your child to touch each picture once while counting. Touching stops children counting the same picture twice.

How to use this worksheet

  1. Print the page on A4 paper.
  2. Count the pictures in the row, touching each one as you go.
  3. Colour in the same number of circles as the pictures you counted.

Print on ordinary paper. There is no need for card unless you want to use the sheet more than once.
