This is page 3 from our free count and colour worksheets for the numbers 1 to 5. Children count the pictures in the row, then colour in the same number of circles underneath. Because the circles stay on the page, a child who miscounts can go back and check without any help from an adult. Say the numbers out loud together the first time, then let your child try the next row alone.
How to use this worksheet
- Print the page on A4 paper.
- Count the pictures in the row, touching each one as you go.
- Colour in the same number of circles as the pictures you counted.
Slip the page into a plastic wallet and use a whiteboard pen if you want to reuse it.
