Free Connect the Dots Worksheets 1-8 for Preschool – Number 5
This is one page from our free connect the dots set for the numbers 1 to 8. Your child joins the eight numbered dots in order and a simple picture appears at the end. Counting in order while drawing is harder than counting out loud, because the child has to hold the next number in mind and control the pencil at the same time, so a dot to dot page practises both at once. If a line goes to the wrong dot, do not rub it out. Just carry on from the right number, and try again on the next page.

How to use this worksheet
- Print the page on A4 paper.
- Start at number 1 and draw a line to number 2, then keep going in order.
- When the last dot is joined, colour the picture in.
Work at a table with good light, and keep the session short and cheerful.
