Free Days of the Week Worksheets for Kindergarten
These free printable days of the week worksheets help kindergarten children learn the seven day names and the order they come in. Every page has the whole week printed along the top, so a child who is not sure can look up and work it out instead of guessing. The pages rotate between three tasks: reading a row that asks for the day after or before a given day and circling it, writing the missing days into a week that has gaps, and numbering three days 1, 2 and 3 to put them in order. Knowing the days is one of the first pieces of calendar sense children pick up, and it comes up every morning at school. In this set the week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday, and that is stated on the first page so there is no doubt about which day comes before Monday. The final page is an answer key. Just download, print, and say the days out loud!
