Free Parts of a Plant Worksheets for Kindergarten – Science
These free printable parts of a plant worksheets are the fourth set in our science section for kindergarten. Children learn the four main parts, roots, stem, leaf and flower, and what each one does for the plant. The pages rotate through four tasks three times so nobody does the same thing twelve times: naming the part an arrow points to on a labeled diagram, reading what a part does and choosing which part it is, judging whether a sentence about plants is right or wrong, and writing the part names from a word bank. The arrows point to different parts on every diagram, so a child cannot learn that A is always the flower. Every question has exactly one correct answer. Each part is given one job on purpose, because roots both take in water and anchor the plant, and a question that offers two true answers is not a fair question. Clues that fit more than one part, like falling off in autumn, are left out for the same reason. An answer key covering all twelve pages is included on the last sheet. Just download, print, and start growing!
