Free Weather Worksheets for Kindergarten – Science
These free printable weather worksheets are the third set in our science section for kindergarten. Children learn the five weather words they will use every morning at circle time: sunny, rainy, snowy, cloudy and stormy. The pages rotate through four tasks three times so nobody does the same thing twelve times: choosing the right word for a weather picture, reading a picture chart and counting how many days had each kind of weather, judging whether a sentence about weather is right or wrong, and finishing a sentence with a word from a word bank. The chart pages quietly bring in counting and comparing, so a weather lesson doubles as early graph practice, and each chart is built so that the most common and least common weather is never a tie. Every question has exactly one correct answer. Clothing questions are deliberately left out, because on a snowy day mittens and a coat are both right and a child should not be marked wrong for either. An answer key covering all twelve pages is included on the last sheet. Just download, print, and look out of the window!
